Joe joined the agency in 1973. In 1998 his father Jim Weinman retired and Joe took-over as president. He is an active member of the Indianola Rotary. From 2007 to 2008 Joe served as the President of the Independent Insurance Agents of Iowa. Joe is devoted to promoting education and technology within the agency as well as to our customers.

Denise joined Browne Risinger & Weinman in 1981. She has served many positions in the agency over the years and is currently our office manager. She is a licensed agent for both personal and commercial lines.
Julie Parker

Julie first joined the agency in 1987. She is licensed and serves as our commercial lines customer service representative.
In her free time she enjoys scrap-booking and travel. Julie loves spending time with her family. This includes her husband of 32 years, one son preparing for his senior year, two married sons and four grandkids ages five, four, three and one.

BJ is committed to keeping people protected even when out of the office. He is a volunteer firefighter for Pleasant Hill. In his free time BJ likes to be off in the clouds. His passion is his hot air ballooning.

Kim joined All Plan Insurance in 2000 and has been with Weinman Insurance since they merged in 2008. She is licensed as a customer service agent in our personal lines department.
Kim is a proud mother of twins, Logan and Olivia. She loves spending time with her family and taking the kids on walks.
Sharon Whittlesey

Sharon has been involved in the insurance industry since 1986 with a background in life & health insurance. She joined the Weinman Insurance team as our receptionist in 1997 and soon moved to personal lines as a customer service representative. Her position has altered since then to fit a flexible role. Now she assists with personal lines, life & health, farm and some commercial lines business.
In her free time Sharon has a successful long-arm quilting business. She also enjoys working in her flower gardens, reading, bird-watching and playing with her dogs Gabe (German Shorthair) and Cole (EnglishSetter). Sharon’s husband, David, is a wildlife biologist for the National Wild Turkey Federation, so they are always busy developing wildlife habitat on their 80 acre farm in Clarke County.
Scott Weinman

Scott joined the agency in April of 2009. He handles the receptionist duties along with advertising and social media marketing. Scott also has his personal lines license.
Scott is proud of his beautiful daughter Nora, his wonderful wife Monica and his loyal dog Honey. When he is not spending time with his family, you can find Scott on the golf course or throwing discs at Pickard park.
JR Weinman

Prior to coming to Weinman Insurance JR worked for Farmers Casualty Insurance. He joined the agency in 1977. Now JR does our accounting and bookkeeper.
JR is a big sports fan. He has been a long time supporter of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Denver Broncos. It's no wonder his dog's name is Elway.
